Having previously refused planning for 7 affordable dwellings, Cheshire East advised only a single dwelling would attract support from planning officers.
Peterloo Estates submitted a revised application in 2018 but an approach from a local purchaser led to a deal being agreed to buy the site without any further planning determination. It was agreed between the parties to withdraw the newly submitted planning application and sell the entire site in its current form.
The sale completed in early 2019.
